NSW Police Assistance

The NSW police force have specially trained officers, called Domestic Voilence Liason Officers (DVLO) to help people in domestic and family voilence situations.

What is a DVLO?

DVLO is a specially trained police officer who will offer you assistance if you are experience domestic or family voilence. They will lodge a DVO (domestic voilence order) for you.

What is a DVO?

A DVO is a Domestic Violence Order. It is an official document issued by the court to stop threats or acts of domestic violence.
