Who Are We
The Lismore Domestic Violence Committee (LDVLC) is a working interagency forum with an active commitment to stopping family and community violence by achieving social and systemic change

Through a commitment to achieving these changes, we aim to:
- Improve the effectiveness of services for women experiencing domestic and family violence by developing effective liaisons and linkages between various groups/workers/services throughout the community who are involved in domestic and family violence work
- Increase community awareness and raise the profile of domestic and family violence issues in the local community
- Inform the provision of domestic violence services in the Lismore Region and advocate for change where service gaps are identified
- Increase community grass root participation.
Over the last 15 years, the committee has successfully participated in, planned, organised and held many annual community projects, such as:
- International Women’s Day
- 16 days of Activism events/projects
- Reclaim The Night marches/events
- Child Protection Week activities
- International Women’s Day events
- Publishing a Lismore version of Charmed & Dangerous.
- DV Hurts Kids Too Event
- Dirty Laundry workshop and event
- Committee website

- Mental Health Week
